Engineering Design and Delivery

ControlPoint Technologies may serve as your architect and I&C / Automation Engineering consultant on your power plant project. ControlPoint can develop your system specifications, provide bid analysis on the owner’s behalf and project manage the integration and installation of the control system.

The automation of a power plant begins with coordination of roles and responsibilities with all project team members, vendors, owners, and architects. The key design input is the Input/Output Database. The control system engineer must maintain the I/O database to drive extent and detail of scope of automation in coordination with Instrument Engineer, Integrator, and Electrical Engineer.

Plant logic is developed using SAMA format drawings to illustrate design details and serve as the basis for software testing. Narrative descriptions are developed to support the complex logic and for operations use in the plant.

Electrical design, installation, loop checkout, tuning, and construction management are all roles familiar to ControlPoint Technologies.
